New to our product range is the MEAN WELL NGE100 universal 100W USB fast chargers with four outputs. The charger is fitted with standardised USB-C charging interfaces, as mandatory in the EU from 28 December 2024. The NGE100 charger comes with 6 interchangeable power plugs (EU, US, UK, AU, CN, KR), making it suitable for international use.
The gallium nitride (GaN) design enables high efficiency and low power consumption and makes the unit impressively compact, at 62 x 30 x 85.5mm and weighing just 338g. With no-load power consumption of <0.3W, it meets the energy efficiency requirements of DOE level VI and is ERP 2019/1782 compliant. The charger has two fast-charge USB-A outputs and two USB-C outputs with power delivery function, each supporting a maximum fast charge of 100W and allowing multiple devices to be charged simultaneously.
The units support the QC2.0, QC3.0 and PD3.0 charging protocols and automatically adapt the required output voltage (5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V) to the demand of the connected device. Input voltage range is from 90VAC to 264VAC (47Hz to 63Hz), and operating temperature is from -30°C to +70°C, with protections against overload, overtemperature and short circuit. The charger also complies with the EN62368-1 and EN55032 Class B standards and fulfils the requirements of protection class II. This makes the fast charger suitable for use with such mobile devices as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, game consoles and in-ear headphones.
