Schukat is expanding its connector range with HD D-sub female and male connectors from CONEC. Two types have been added: with straight soldering pins (series 15-0075), and with 90° angled soldering pins (series 15-0076). The SlimCon series are made of a copper alloy with nickel/gold (Ni/Au) contact surfaces and an insulator body made of PBT GF (glass-fibre reinforced polybutylene terephthalate) in accordance with UL 94 V-0. They are suitable for wave soldering at a solder bath temperature of 265°C for 8s. Both series are protection class IP67 compliant when connected and allow 50 connection cycles. They are available in 15, 26 and 26-pole versions with rated current of 3A and rated voltage of 60V. Their dielectric strength is 1000V and contact resistance 10mΩ. The connectors are designed for PCB mounting with mounting bolts and PCB clip (series 15-0075) or with 1.6mm PCB clip (series 15-0076), and the plug-in connection is locked with a UNC-4-40 internal thread. The units can be used in a temperature range of -40 to +105°C. CONEC’s HD D-sub female and male connectors are now available direct from stock at Schukat.
