Schukat now supplies the RST-7K5 (7,500W) and RST-15K (15,000W) enclosed-type single-output power supplies from MEAN WELL. They can be employed across a range of industries and applications, including automated industrial facilities, laser-based equipment, testing and measurement instruments, charging & energy-storage systems, central BUS supplies, as well as EV charging stations and UV light and electrolysis applications.
The 3-phase, 4-wire, AC-input power supplies offer a broad operating temperature range from -30°C to +45°C without derating, and feature a built-in active PFC function and ON/OFF remote control. They are designed to deliver efficiency of up to 95%. When connected in parallel (up to four units), they offer maximum output power of 30kW. Output voltage options are 115V, 230V and 380V, and both output voltage and constant-current level are programmable, with output voltage adjustment ranging from 1% to 120%.
Users can choose between two different cooling methods for the RST power supplies: a forced-air design with integrated fans (RST-7K5/15K) and a water cooled version (RST-7K5L). Both cooling types can be easily integrated depending on the characteristics of the terminal device and the installation environment. For water-cooled models, an optional cooling plate is also available.
A range of built-in monitoring signals – overtemperature alarm, DC-OK, fan failure alarm, and AC failure alarm – allow quick checking and management of system equipment. The RTS-7K5/RST-15K AC/DC power supplies are protected against short circuit, voltage surges, overtemperature, and fan failure. They are UL 62368-1, EN 62368-1, and IEC 62368-1 compliant and meet the EN55032/ EN55011 Class A/B EMC safety standards. The power supplies from MEAN WELL have a five-year guarantee.
