With the UVC LEDs in LITEON's G35 series, Schukat now supplies exceptionally powerful and energy-efficient high-power LEDs for disinfection applications in medical and consumer applications. The 6V single-chip SMD LEDs, with a wavelength from 270 to 285nm, deliver up to 30.8mW power at 280mA. Thanks to their innovative, ultramodern case technology, the LEDs achieve this high power level despite their small size – just 3.5 x 3.5mm. The G35 series delivers proven disinfection performance exceeding 99.99% and can be used for both anti-bacterial and anti-viral disinfection and sterilisation applications. The UVC LEDs allow a high degree of product design freedom and can be used in a wide range of applications: UVC air purifiers; air conditioners and robot vacuums; consumer applications for disinfecting surfaces on e.g. mobile phones, eyeglasses, headphones, office equipment and toys; both in water and in a wide range of medical-sector sterilization devices. All of the UVC LEDs from LITEON offer IP58 protection and have been tested to an appropriate service life for end-user applications. The G35 series from LITEON is now in stock at Schukat.
