Built for particularly harsh application areas such as underground mining and cold, hot, or dusty environments, the moulded valve connectors in the DT and VSS Superseal series from Conec are now part of the Schukat range. The connectors have been successfully employed in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicles. The Conec valve connectors meet the high demands placed on connectors in such environments and offer excellent protection. They are available with 2m, 5m or 10m strand length and a cable diameter of 0.75mm2. They come in 2-pole and 4-pole versions in a socket or pin housing and have nickel-plated copper-alloy contacts. In addition, they are designed for at least 50 connection cycles (VSS series) or 100 connection cycles (DT series), and have a current rating of 8A at 80°C.
Conec’s VSS Superseal and DT series connectors are suitable for high ambient temperatures, the connectors themselves for -40 to +125°C, with fixed leads for -40 to +80°C, and with movable leads for -25 to +80°C.
All connectors comply with protection class IP67 when mated, while the DT series also meets the highest protection class for electrical equipment: IP69K.
