With the piezo sounders in Ekulit’s RMP28 series, Schukat is adding new audio-signal devices with built-in driver circuitry to its product range. The new series features integrated driver circuitry, which delivers significant improvements in the electronics, saves money, time and energy in production development, and reduces the space required on PCBs. Ekulit’s new RMP series buzzers also include models with flanges and stranded wire connectors that make them considerably easier to install on a housing. The improved acoustics of the series produces a clearer tone from the integrated buzzer, resulting in a more harmonious overall sound. The piezo sounders are available either with stranded wire connectors or for PCB mounting. Between 12 and 40mm in diameter, the new audio-signal devices offer customers a wide range of installation options. They are designed for a wide temperature range from -30 to +70°C and for operating
The new models with built-in driver circuitry include, for example, the RMP-28SP01-PT – with 1.5V operating voltage, 70dB of sound output, a pulsed tone, and pin connectors – and the RMP-28SW24-DT – with operating voltage of 24V, sound output of 95dB, a constant tone, and stranded wire connectors.
The buzzers are used in cash registers, medical measuring equipment (e.g. sphygomanometers), car park ticket machines, in industrial and plant areas, for school supplies (e.g. tin-can traffic-light projects in technology classes), etc. All Ekulit audio-signal devices are 100% maintenance-free and have an unlimited service life. The piezo buzzers with integrated driver circuitry are now in stock at Schukat.
