MEAN WELL MPM-90 Series Miniature Switching Power Supplies for Medical Applications

With the AC/DC switching power supplies in the MPM-90 series from MEAN WELL, Schukat now offers miniature 90W power supplies designed for medical applications. The units meet the requirements of the latest medical safety standards IEC/EN60335-1 and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and also the 2 x MOPP isolation level. Demonstrating ultra-low leakage current of less than 100μA, they are suitable for BF type medical devices, such as medical diagnostic equipment, portable medical devices and medical equipment requiring extremely low standby power consumption – for the MPM series, this amounts to less than 0.1W with no load. The modules have a closed construction and are designed for direct PCB mounting. Alternatively, the MPM-90-_ST series also offers an option for connection with screw terminals. The power supplies feature high efficiency (93%), a universal input and an input voltage range from 80 to 264VAC, and offer protections against short circuit, overload (with auto-recovery) and overvoltage. With a broad operating temperature range from -30 to +80°C, an operating altitude up to 4000m and a manufacturer's warranty of three years, MEAN WELL's MPM-90 series is now in stock at Schukat.
