New goals, new markets
TSC aims to increase the revenue it generates through distribution from 40% to 50%. Schukat plays a central role in this. Ralf Welter, CEO of TSC Europe, explains: “The automotive market, for example, has undergone massive changes in recent years. Digitalization and smart connections are coming increasingly into focus: assistance and infotainment systems in ‘Connected Cars’ connect the vehicle to the internet. Electromobility calls for expanded charging infrastructure. This transformation needs energy management solutions and infrastructures that must be sustainable and future-oriented.”
Reliable supply and one-stop shopping
Schukat ensures the fast, reliable delivery to their customers, with the best possible components in the right quantities at the right time. Currently, the distributor has about 1,400 TSC components in stock, and thanks to their fully automated high-bay warehouse, Schukat has been able to significantly increase its TSC product range in recent years. More efficient processes in the logistics process and the associated improvements in delivery time to customers have led to noticeable growth in both companies. “Procuring materials, both as samples and for series supply, should be as simple and straightforward as possible for our customers. Through our online portal, we offer customers fast and transparent access around the clock to all components we carry,” says Biljana Civic, team leader of Schukat’s semiconductor division. “By making this one-stop shopping possible, complementary needs can be conveniently ordered in a single step. Our customers greatly appreciate the time savings.”

From the very start, respectful and open communication formed the basis of their collaboration. Since then, sales processes have been defined and continuously improved almost daily. For both partners, it was clear from the start: service and satisfaction for the customers they share is most important. The cooperation between Schukat and TSC offers notable benefits to customers. On one hand, the distributor ensures the greatest possible supply security, and on the other, the manufacturer personally advises customers on complex and customer-specific products. For example, in design-in discussions, not only are individual technical parameters discussed, but also the interaction between the various components on the circuit board. Sometimes very detailed discussions, tests, and appropriate qualification measures are required before final approval is given. The collaboration between TSC and Schukat makes both companies indispensable partners for their customers throughout the entire development process.
