Nuvotem Talema is one of the leading manufacturers of toroidal transformers and has continuously expanded its product range in the fields of storage and noise-suppression chokes, telecommunication and network inductance, current transformers and flyback transformers. Schukat has been a contract distributor for Talema since 1996 and distributes all of the company's products, delivering about 300 Talema products directly from stock.
Talema started originally as a manufacturer of customised toroidal transformers. Since its foundation in Munich in 1975, Talema's significance as a producer of toroidal transformers has grown steadily and the firm is today among the leading manufacturers worldwide. In the meantime, Talema's headquarter has moved to Ireland, branches have been established on every continent, and the company has two production facilities located in India and the Czech Republic. Today, the company employs some 800 staff.
Talema offers its customers a comprehensive range of standard products, a range which is continually being extended as new markets open up. Among Talema's particular strengths are the manufacture of customer-specific products, competent advice and design-in support.
