ECE is a Taiwanese manufacturer of DIP/DIL switches, coded rotary switches, slide switches, terminal blocks, relays and connectors. Schukat electronic has been an ECE distributor since 1994 and markets all of the manufacturer’s products; all of ECE’s popular DIP switches, reed relays and PTC fuses are available from stock.
The company was founded in Taichung, Taiwan, in 1981, starting with the production of DIP switches and reed relays. In the following years, ECE invested in automating its production line. In 1990, they began manufacturing terminal blocks.
In the 1990s too, ECE focused on upgrading its distribution channels and production facilities. The first Chinese plant was set up in Dong-Guan and branches were established in the United States and Singapore. In 2003, ECE increased its production capacities in China with the opening of an additional facility in Suzhou, with a second plant opening in 2006.
ECE products have proven themselves with their high quality and reliability; they are used in the products of numerous household-name companies, including Philips, Alcatel, ABB, Honeywell, Emerson, Rockwell, Epson, JAE, Samsung and LG. The company has met DIN EN ISO9001:2015, and has been ISO14001:2015 certified.
