Schukat is expanding its range of equipment circuit breakers with the newly added type 1110 from E-T-A. This single-pole thermal combination circuit breaker combines the function of an on/off switch (pushbutton/pressure actuation) with overload protection in a single component.
With its slender, space-saving, square design, it represents an ideal replacement for a vertical fuse holder, saving both space and money. If tripped, it can be switched on again quickly and easily at the touch of a button, which translates into maximum device availability. The Schurter 1110 circuit breaker’s rapid fault localization means time savings, while its tease-free, trip-free switching mechanism deliver reliable switching behaviour. It also offers easy installation with snap-in panel mounting. Accessories include a protective cover against dust and water in the actuator and terminal area (IP64).
Installation panel thickness is from 0.8 to 1.6mm; insulation resistance is 100MOhm (min.); shock resistance is 30g (11ms). It has a voltage rating of 250V AC or 50V DC, while rated current ranges from 6A to 16A depending on the type. Maximum service life is max. 10,000 actuations.
The type 1110 circuit breaker from Schurter is REACH and RoHS compliant and approved to IEC 60934: S-type TO, UL 1077, CC22.2 No. 235, and IEC/EN60934. Typical areas of application include household and office equipment, electrical tools, power supplies and chargers, on-board power supply protection, marine applications, and mobile homes. The E-T-A type 1110 circuit breaker will soon be in stock at Schukat.
