Each consignment of goods is inspected before leaving our warehouse to make sure the merchandise is in perfect condition. Nevertheless damage in transit can occur due to circumstances beyond our control or from inappropriate treatment of goods during the transit period. In the event of damage occuring you must inform the transport company within the notification time to secure a claim for damages.
Damaged packing:
• delivered by post or package service:
Allow the damage to be confirmed immediately by the delivering agent.
Inform us of the damage within 24 hours. We will respond immediately.
• delivered through a forwarding company:
In the presence of the driver, inspect the goods and certify the damage on the consignment note packing list.
Inform us of the damage within 3 days.
Packaging intact, contents damaged:
• delivered by post or package service
Immediately inform the responsible post office offical/post office, request an inspection and an ascertainment of the facts.
Inform us of the damage within 24 hours.
• delivered through a forwarding company
Inform the delivering haulage contractor immediately and request an inspection. After an inspection, certify the damage on the consignment note.
Inform us of the damage within 3 days.
