More design freedom with super-flat 50x10mm fans

New Sunon equipment fans, available exclusively at Schukat

Designed for miniaturisation and not currently listed with any other premium manufacturer: Sunon has created a new 50x50x10mm fan that, with its combination of fan size and rated voltage, fills a unique market niche and is now available exclusively from Schukat.

Why did they design the fan?

With its super-flat design, measuring just 50x50x10mm, the new EF50102B1-A99 complements the already available 40x40x10mm 24VDC fan, giving users even more design freedom and possibilities for miniaturising 24VDC applications

Which features make the 50x10mm model unique?

• It has a single-phase brushless 4-pole direct-current motor.

• The precision ball bearing system ensures a long product lifetime and allows the fan to be installed in any position.
• Life expectancy is 70,000 hours at 40°C and 65% humidity.
• The fan EF50102B1-A99 delivers air flow of 19.3m³/h at a low noise level of only 34.8dB(A).

• At rated power of 1.08W and an operating voltage of 8 to 27.6VDC, the EF50102B1-A99 is exceptionally energy-efficient.

• The 24VDC thermoplastic (PBT) fan with stranded wire connectors meets the requirements of UL insulation class A.
• Measuring 50x50x10mm, it weighs just 18.5g.

In which applications is the fan used?

With its space-saving, low-profile design, the EF50102B1-A99 is particularly suitable for applications with only limited space, for example in power supplies and UPS applications, in battery chargers, industrial control units and machines, as well as in label printers and 3D printers.
