embedded world 2023 in Nuremberg: Visit us in Hall 3A, Stand 235!

At this year’s embedded world we are concentrating on innovations in components and solutions in the areas of power supplies, semiconductors, passive and electromechanical components and fans.

From the Power Supplies area Schukat presents the complete range of MEAN WELL innovations, from the SPOL-01 1A DC/DC switching regulators in a mini SMD package measuring just 12.4 x 12.4 x 4mm up to the powerful 3-phase, 15kW RST-15K, including DC UPS solutions like the LAD-120 and the DRS-240 and DRS-480 units.
From Recom, Schukat has the new, cost-effective, 4x2'' RACM90-K and RACM130E-K AC/DC power supplies, both available as either open frame or with an enclosure. Also on show will be the new, medically certified RACM30-K/277 PCB power supplies, which offer a wide operating temperature range from -40° to +90°C.
Additional medical and industrial AC/DC and DC/DC products come from manufacturers including XP Power and EDACPOWER.

Among its passive and electromechanical components, Schukat will be presenting connectors from Conec that are primarily aimed at measurement and control technology and automation. Also in focus are Panasonic's SMD electrolytic capacitors and, for demanding applications, their AEC-200-certified ETQP series of SMD power inductors – an ideal solution for transmission, braking and drivetrain applications. The new piezo signal transmitters in EKULIT’s RMP28 series with integrated driver circuitry offer significant improvements in the electronics.

In semiconductors, key products include the Arduino Pro IoT platform and SG Micro logic ICs. Customers can choose from over 40 types of LDO voltage regulators; a range of reliable watchdogs for microcontrollers will also be on display. With the GateMate series from Cologne Chip and the corresponding development board, Schukat is backing made-in-Germany FPGAs. The distributor has also expanded its range to include the compact 0.9” IPS TFT displays with adapter board for the Raspberry Pi Pico, from manufacturer Display Visions. Despite their small diagonal, the color displays offer a resolution of 180 x 60 pixels and a wide viewing angle thanks to the AACS (All Angle Colour Stability) display, while the integrated IPS (in-plane switching) technology delivers high-contrast images. Small, low-cost, and power saving – power consumption is just 80mW – the displays have an adapter board for Raspberry Pi Pico and target applications in the IoT field.

A highlight among Schukat’s fans/cooling solutions is the CF series from Sunon, a new generation of EC fans that features energy savings of up to 80% compared to conventional AC fans. Starting in early summer, Schukat will add the 2nd generation – even more efficient and economical – to its range. In the larger 120 x 38mm size, these components will, in the future, also be available with speed control. They will be available direct from Schukat in sizes from 60 x 25mm to 92 x 25mm from the end of May, with the larger 128 x 38mm fans available from late summer.
