Among the latest additions to the Schukat range are PROCELL button cells from the manufacturer DURACELL, designed for industrial use. The cells have a nominal voltage of 3V and are available in three sizes: CR2016 (PCCR2016), CR2025 (PCCR2025) and CR2032 (PCCR2032). They feature high capacity and high energy density of 255mWh (CR2016), 495mWh (CR2025) and 735mWh (CR2032) respectively. Self-discharge is flat and very low: less than 2% after one year in storage. The batteries function in a temperature range from -20 to +60°C. Design, safety, manufacturing and qualification follow PROCELL's stringent battery standards, which comply with ANSI and IEC requirements and thus ensure that the lithium manganese dioxide cells deliver safe, reliable performance in professional equipment. They are used, for example, in professional all-purpose devices such as remote controls, glucometers, and motion sensors.
