New in our range are the Omron PCB power relays in the G9KB series with rated switching current of 50A and switching voltage of 600V AC. The relays feature low contact resistance and coil power consumption and a bidirectional opening and closing function. Contact gap is ≥ 3.6mm, (initial) contact resistance is ≤ 5mOhm, and the units can be operated in ambient temperatures from -20 to +70°C. The Omron G9KB relays are certified in accordance with UL 60947-4-1 and EN 61810-10 (as required for ESS switching components).
Applications include commercial and household appliances and energy industry and electricity storage systems, for example in renewable energy-based power supply systems for private households when electricity from solar panels is used to charge an electric vehicle. In addition, the relays are suitable for next-generation vehicle-to-home (V2H) and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) charging systems.
The relays in Omron’s G9KB series are now in stock at Schukat with nominal voltages of 12 and 24V DC.
