The self-adjusting Knipex insulation stripper KNIP1240-200 has been designed for single, multiple and fine stranded conductors with plastic or rubber insulation, and adapts automatically to the various conductor cross sections without damaging the conductor. Cutting depth, however, can be adjusted for different insulation materials. Additionally, the self-adjusting insulation stripper has a wire cutter for copper and aluminium wires (multi-stranded up to 10 mm² and single conductor up to 6 mm²). The stripper features a body made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic and a blade made of oil-hardened special tool steel.
New are the spare clamping jaws KNIP1249-02 and length stop KNIP1249-03 for these pliers, allowing users to extend the service life of their insulation stripper, generate savings and act sustainably by stretching the life cycle of the pliers while simultaneously optimising costs.
