USB-C Connector from MPE Garry: Series 719 with USB 3.1 Type C, SMD Design

With the 719 series from MPE Garry, we are expanding our portfolio to include USB 3.1 Type C connectors in SMD design. These copper alloy components, with their partially gold-plated contact surface (24 contacts), have enlarged SMD soldering surfaces that allow higher mechanical loading. In addition, the SuperSpeed+ standard enables data transfer rates of up to 10 GBit/s. The USB connectors series 719 from MPE Garry have a service life of at least 10,000 connection cycles and can withstand charging currents as high as 5A at up to 20V maximum. The operating temperature range for the standard model ranges from -30 to +80°C – higher and lower operating temperatures, e.g. down to -55°C, are also possible with special adaptations. The USB-C connectors in the 719 series feature a durable locking mechanism and their symmetrical design also allows the housing to be connected on both sides.
