New MP Capacitors, Class Y2, from Kemet for Worldwide Use in Interference Suppression

Now in stock at Schukat: class Y2 MP capacitors for interference suppression, with rated voltage of 250VAC in the PME271Y series and 300 VAC in the PME271YA-E series. The internal structure of the capacitors consists of multiple layers of metallised paper, encapsulated and impregnated with self-extinguishing material to meet UL 94 V-0. The MP capacitors from Kemet are well-suited for use anywhere in the world to suppress electromagnetic interference in all Y2 applications, line-to-earth.
The capacitance values of the PME271Y series range from 1nF to 100nF, while the PME271YA-E series offers 4.7nF and 6.8nF; tolerance is ±20%. Operating temperature range is between -40°C and +110°C for the PME271Y series, and for the PME271YA-E series as high as +115°C. The capacitors’ impregnated dielectric ensures ionisation resistance together with outstanding stability and reliability characteristics, especially for always-on applications. At the same time, excellent self-healing properties ensure a long life, even when subjected to frequent overvoltages.
All models are ENEC, UL, cUL and CQC certified and are RoHS compliant. They are now available direct from stock at Schukat.
