Schukat has now added MEAN WELL's XLN/XLC NFC series to its range. These new LED switching power supplies have a plastic housing that provides protection class II (IP67 for XLN and IP20 for XLC) and double insulation. To meet different customers’ needs, the XLN series covers all standard cable types and the XLC series offers terminal blocks both with or without end caps and strain relief. The XLN-25 and XLN-40 units measure 114x44x32mm and the XLN-60 model 141.5x49x32mm. The XLC series is available in two variants: as an installable power supply for end-user equipment without end caps/strain relief, and as a standalone device with end caps and strain relief. Without end caps, the XLC-25 and XLC-40 measures 107x40x32mm and the XLC-60 is 136x45x32mm; with strain relief, the XLC models are each 40mm longer.
Stand-out features include a model-dependent choice of constant output current or voltage (12V, 24V, 48V), low standby power consumption (less than 0.5W), adjustable output current with NFC programming via the MEAN WELL app, and either analogue or digital dimming (0...10V, PWM signal, resistance, Push-Dim, and DALI-2). The flicker-free LED power supplies also feature an EL label (emergency lighting device), input voltage range from 100...305V (47 to 63Hz) or 141...431V, leakage current below 0.75mA, and withstand voltage I/P-O/P of 3750V AC. They are designed for an operating temperature range from -25 to +90°C. The XLN and XLC series has an integrated PFC circuit and protections against overtemperature and short circuit. The series complies with EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13, EN62384, EN55015 and EN61547.
By meeting the IEC 61347 and UL 8750 lighting specifications, the new XLN/XLC series ensures user safety and product quality.
The series represent an excellent choice for LED lighting applications both indoors and outdoors. Applications include recessed spotlights, commercial and decorative lighting, LED strips, digital DALI lighting and more. MEAN WELL provides a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on these components.
