For its Good Sales Development, Inventory, and Customer Service, Schukat electronic has been Recognised by LED Power Supply Manufacturer SELF electronics as its Best European Distributor

As Schukat is the only distributor in Europe to stock SELF’s complete power supply range in large quantities, the distribution company has developed in recent years to become the producer’s most important and successful trading partner. General Manager Wei Zhang of SELF Europe personally presented the award to Frank Stocker in Cologne on 4 May 2022.

''We were able to increase our sales of SELF’s products by more than 45 per cent in 2021 compared to the previous year. Going forward, we plan to further expand the SELF portfolio, which currently encompasses more than 100 LED power supplies in a variety of power ratings and designs,'' says Frank Stocker, Field Application Engineer Power Supplies at Schukat electronic.

The company is also planning an upgrade to their DALI dimmable products, aiming to reduce the achievable lower dimming level from 1 to 0.1 percent to once again significantly improve the dimming experience, especially in the critical lower range.

Since the start of this year, this has been gradually implemented for all products. In addition, an upgrade of the successful ultra-slim 30W LED power supply units in the SLT30-VFG series is planned – the design is to be shortened significantly and will allow a wider range of cable cross-sections to be connected thanks to a new connection option. The units in the SLT75-VFG and SLT100-VFG series, previously offered only as on/off versions, are to be supplemented by models with a DALI dimming interface. Among the classical types, there will be new 80W, 100W and 150W versions, which, as well as meeting the usual EN 61347-1 safety standard for LED power supplies, will have improved electrical parameters to bring them into compliance with the EN 60335-1 safety standard for household applications.
