Now available at Schukat are the stylish BOX4U universal industrial enclosures in the UL-listed materials ABS plastic and polycarbonate. Mounting points for self-tapping screws are provided in the enclosure base for attaching components, circuit boards, and mounting plates. All BOX4U enclosures have a high-quality screw-on lid with threaded inserts. They are available in a wide range of variants compatible with products from leading enclosure brands. The ABS enclosures are available in 33 sizes, while the polycarbonate versions come in 28 sizes, eleven of which have a transparent lid. These high-quality yet cost-effective enclosures are an unobtrusive light grey similar to RAL 7035. Depending on the model, they meet DIN EN 60528 protection class IP65 or IP66, while IEC 62262 impact resistance is tested to IK 07 for the polycarbonate versions, making them suitable for outdoor use. The polycarbonate enclosures are designed for an operating temperature range of -30°C to +110°C, the ABS versions from -30°C to +70°C. Each enclosure comprises a lid and base with four fastening screws.
